Greetings on Tiger Day

Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the organizers, participants, and guests of Tiger Day celebrations.

The Kremlin, September 23, 2023

“This day is considered one of the most interesting and significant events in the public and cultural life of the Far East and the entire country. It is always held at a high organisational and creative level and involves people of various professions and ages who, by duty and vocation, help preserve our unique natural wealth, and who are sincerely concerned about the fate of the “master of the Amur Taiga. I would also like to note that large-scale and popular projects like this have significant educational and consolidating potential.

Special words of gratitude go to the scientists, biologists, reserve workers, rangers, and volunteers. It is largely thanks to their dedication that serious scientific and research programmes are successfully implemented, conditions are created for the safe existence of the Amur tiger population, and society’s commitment to the values of environmental culture and respect for wildlife is promoted.”
