DIESEL LIGHT ENGINE TROUBLE AT KANKURGACCHI
Kolkata, September 27, 2023:
A Diesel Light Engine was disabled at Kankurgachhi on the Sealdah-Dum Dum Jn section and stalled on a crossing-over point at Kankurgachhi blocking both Up and Down Main Line from 21:50 hrs. The disabled engine was cleared at 22:48 hrs by another fresh engine.
As a sequel to this, 12343 Up Darjeeling Mail, 13153 Up Gaur Express, and 12987 Up Sealdah –Ajmer Express had a late start from Sealdah station.
