HEALTH CARE ENHANCEMENTS INAUGURATED AT B R SINGH HOSPITAL

In a step forward to improve the standard of medical care, Eastern Railway is providing updated medical machinery equipment to its hospitals to enhance healthcare services for its beneficiaries. As a part of this endeavour, Dr. Mihir Kumar Choudhury, Principal Chief Medical Director / Eastern Railway, in the presence of Shri Deepak Nigam, Divisional Railway Manager / Sealdah, and Dr. Indira Jha, Medical Director/B.R. Singh Hospital visited B. R. Singh Hospital & inaugurated advanced healthcare facilities in the hospital today (15.12.2023) to serve the Railway beneficiaries.
During his visit, Dr. Choudhury inaugurated an ‘Extended Triage Unit’ in the Emergency section. The Extended Triage Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities including an oxygen concentrator, multiparameter monitors, automatic defibrillator, and portable ECG machines for enhancing emergency care service.
He also inaugurated a “New Advanced Echocardiography Colour Doppler Machine with Transoesophageal probe and 3D imaging” at the Cardiology Department of B. R. Singh Hospital.
Additionally, Dr. Mihir Kumar Choudhury inaugurated the Renovated Dental Department at B. R. Singh Hospital. The Department is set to receive a new dental RVG unit with a digital intraoral X-ray sensor along with One dental chair and OPG machine.
The event marks a significant step forward in the ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare services, with a focus on ensuring the well-being of the Railway’s beneficiaries.
