Vice-President greets the nation on the eve of Republic Day

I convey my best wishes to all countrymen on the joyous occasion of our 75th Republic Day.
Seventy-five years ago, the founding fathers of our Constitution envisioned a nation where justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity would be the guiding principles of the world’s largest and most inclusive democracy. On this day, in the Amrit Kaal of our Republic, we reflect upon the struggles, sacrifices, and accomplishments that have shaped Bharat as a beacon of hope for the rest of humanity.
As we celebrate our achievements, on this 75th anniversary of our Republic, let us resolve to recommit ourselves to the principles enshrined in our Constitution, and work together towards building an ever stronger and more prosperous Bharat.
Following is the Hindi translation of the Vice-President’s message:
75वें गणतंत्र दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर सभी देशवासियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं!
देश के संविधान निर्माताओं ने 75 वर्ष पूर्व एक राष्ट्र का सपना देखा था जहां न्याय, स्वतंत्रता, समानता, बंधुत्व के आदर्श, विश्व के सबसे बड़े और सबसे समावेशी लोकतंत्र को परिभाषित करते हैं। आज अपने गणतंत्र के अमृत काल में उन संघर्षों, बलिदानों और उपलब्धियों को याद करें, जिन्होंने भारत को अखिल मानवता के लिए आशा के पुंज के रूप में स्थापित किया।
आज जब हम अपने गणतंत्र की 75वीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर अपनी उपलब्धियों का उत्सव मना रहे हैं, हम अपने संविधान में निहित मूल्यों और मर्यादाओं के प्रति स्वयं को प्रतिबद्ध करें और एक सशक्त एवं समृद्ध भारत के निर्माण के लिए कृत्संकल्प हों।
