EASTERN RAILWAY UPGRADES KOLKATA – PATNA – KOLKATA GARIBRATH EXPRESS TO STATE-OF-THE-ART LHB RAKES

Eastern Railway has planned a major upgrade to the 12359/12360 Kolkata – Patna – Kolkata Garibrath Express with conversion from ICF to LHB rake with revised composition, leaving Kolkata with effect from 30.11.2024 and leaving Patna with effect from 01.12.2024. This transition marks a significant milestone in Eastern Railway’s ongoing commitment to prioritize passenger safety, comfort, and the modernization of its rolling stock vis-à-vis increased accommodation for the passengers. The train will run with 17 coaches including 15 nos. of 3-Tier Economy coaches.
The introduction of state-of-the-art Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) rakes signifies a significant step forward in enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers. LHB coaches are renowned for their advanced safety features, improved performance, and enhanced passenger comfort.
