GRANTS FOR CULTURAL INSTITUTION, TRUST AND NGOs

The Ministry of Culture implements Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY) for providing financial assistance to eligible cultural organizations/artists engaged in the promotion of art and culture across the country. The scheme-wise, state-wise details of funds released to various cultural organizations, including NGOs/Trusts, during the last five years and the current financial year are given in the Annexure.

 Cultural organizations seeking grants under these schemes are required to submit their applications/proposals along with all requisite supporting documents. Applications/proposals that are complete in all respects are examined by the Expert/Evaluation Committee constituted by the Ministry for this purpose. The Expert Committee makes its recommendations on the merit of each proposal/application after due consideration of the provisions of the scheme guidelines, the cultural performances/activities undertaken, the resources and capacity of the organizations, and other relevant factors.
