Rajasthan’s Jan Aadhaar Family ID Now Available on DigiLocker, Benefiting 7.5 Crore Citizens
New Delhi/Jaipur, June 17, 2026: In a major boost to digital governance and citizen convenience, Rajasthan’s Jan Aadhaar (Family ID) has now been integrated with DigiLocker, enabling nearly 7.5 crore residents of the state to access, store, and share their family identity credentials digitally.
The integration, announced under the Government of India’s Digital India initiative, allows citizens to instantly retrieve their Jan Aadhaar document through DigiLocker whenever required for government services, welfare schemes, and verification purposes.
The two-way integration offers additional convenience, allowing citizens not only to fetch their existing Jan Aadhaar Family ID into DigiLocker but also to apply for a new Family ID digitally through the platform by providing consent within the application.
How Citizens Can Access Jan Aadhaar on DigiLocker
Residents can access their Jan Aadhaar Family ID in four simple steps:
- Sign in to the DigiLocker mobile application or visit the official DigiLocker portal.
- Search for “Jan Aadhaar” under Rajasthan Government services.
- Enter the required details and provide consent.
- Retrieve the document, which is automatically stored in the user’s DigiLocker account.
Easier Access to Welfare Benefits
Jan Aadhaar serves as Rajasthan’s primary household identity credential and is widely used for accessing government welfare schemes and citizen services. Through DigiLocker, beneficiaries can now digitally present and share their Family ID without carrying physical documents.
