Praxis Business School Foundation and RISE Foundation IISER Kolkata Join Hands to Promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Kolkata, June 29, 2026: In a significant move to strengthen India’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem, Praxis Business School Foundation and RISE Foundation IISER, the Technology Business Incubator of IISER Kolkata, have entered into a strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The collaboration is aimed at developing a range of academic, executive and professional programmes that integrate scientific research, technological innovation and management education to prepare professionals for the evolving demands of industry.
Under the agreement, both institutions will jointly design and deliver programmes in high-growth sectors, including Pharmaceutical Management, Biotechnology Management, Healthcare Innovation, Technology Commercialisation, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Technology, and Entrepreneurship.
The partnership also seeks to strengthen industry-academia engagement through a variety of initiatives such as certificate courses, executive education programmes, collaborative research projects, startup mentoring, internships, innovation competitions, conferences, seminars and customised corporate training.
By combining the scientific research capabilities and startup incubation expertise of RISE Foundation IISER with the management education and industry outreach of Praxis Business School Foundation, the two organisations aim to nurture innovation-driven talent and support the growth of technology-led enterprises.
The collaboration is expected to create new opportunities for students, researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals while contributing to India’s vision of building a globally competitive, knowledge-based economy through innovation, skill development and entrepreneurship.
