
IAF Training Command Felicitates Distinguished Civilian Officers for Strengthening Civil-Military Cooperation
Bengaluru, September 17, 2026: Headquarters Training Command of the Indian Air Force (IAF) organised a felicitation ceremony on September 16 to recognise the contributions of distinguished civilian officers and institutional partners towards supporting the Command’s training mission and enhancing civil-military cooperation.
Air Marshal S. Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, commended the awardees for their professional contributions and their role in facilitating effective coordination between the IAF and various civilian agencies.
Those felicitated at the ceremony included Smt. Divya S. Hosur, Defence Estate Officer, Karnataka Circle; Shri Manjunatha, Food Safety Officer, Greater Bengaluru Authority; Shri Varun Kumar SV, Range Forest Officer; Shri Rafeeq, Detective Police Inspector, CID Karnataka; Shri K.N. Jayakumara, Deputy General Manager and Project Director, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI); Shri Ramakrishnappa, Engineering Division, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL); and Smt. Mala MV, Executive Guest Experience, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL).
The ceremony highlighted the importance of coordination between the IAF and civilian organisations in areas relevant to the Training Command’s operations and mission objectives.
The recognised officers and representatives were acknowledged for their professional excellence and continued support in promoting smooth inter-agency cooperation with the Indian Air Force.
