NO EAST-WEST (GREEN LINE) METRO SERVICES ON 26.08.23 (SATURDAY)

In order to conduct an Integrated Safety Test between the already commissioned Salt Lake Sector V- Sealdah stretch and under construction Esplanade-Howrah Maidan stretch of East-West Metro (Green Line), it has been decided to suspend Green Line Metro services from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V on 26.08.2023 (Saturday). No services will be available on this Corridor tomorrow on Saturday.

This exhaustive Integrated Safety Test is essential to interface and integrate both the software and hardware of the system in the upcoming stretch from Howrah Maidan to Esplanade with the presently operational stretch of this Corridor from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V.

Shri Kausik Mitra, Chief Public Relations Officer, Metro Railway, has requested all stakeholders to co-operate with Metro Railway authorities for the smooth execution of this test.
