CHIEF COMMISSIONER OF RAILWAY SAFETY INSPECTS NOAPARA TO DUM DUM CANTONMENT STRETCH OF YELLOW LINE

Shri Janak Kumar Garg, Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety (CCRS) inspected newly built Dum Dum Cantonment Metro station and undertook a trolley inspection from Noapara to Dum Dum Cantonment station today i.e. 28.03.24 before commissioning of Noapara to Dum Dum Cantonment stretch of Yellow Line. He inspected Entry and Exit Gates, AFC-PC Gates, Ticketing System, Escalators, Lifts, Signage Boards, Fire Detection and Suppression System and other passenger amenities and passenger interchanging arrangements with Eastern Railway, Station Control Room, Electronic Interlocking (EI) System, Signal Equipment Room, Booking Counters etc at Dum Dum Cantonment Metro station. He also inspected Noapara Metro station of Yellow Line.
Apart from this, speed trial on this stretch from Noapara to Dum Dum Cantonment station and back was also conducted in his presence at a maximum speed of 75 kmph.
During this inspection, Shri V.K.Srivastava, Principal Chief Engineer and Additional General Manager (AGM) and other high-level Metro officials accompanied him.
