DRM/Sealdah distributes Safety Award
DRM/Sealdah distributes Safety Awards today (20.05.2024) to the employees for showing exemplary service and utmost devotion in discharging their duties :-
- Sri Avinash Kumar, Loco Pilot Goods/Dumdum has been conferred Safety Award by DRM/Sealdah for his exceptional vigilant nature and high alertness on duty. His prompt action to stop a train by applying emergency brake averted possible incident and saved lives.
- Shri Rambhanju Yadav, Track Maintainer-II(Engg.) has been conferred Safety Award by DRM/Sealdah for displaying extraordinary vigilance and alertness while performing his duty as a Patrolman in detecting a misalignment at the weld joint in Railway track to avert possible accident and subsequent detention of trains.
- Shri Ashis Kumar Barai, Sr.Tech/Electrical Deptt./Ranaghat, has been given Safety Award by DRM/Sealdah for standout innovation in developing low battery voltage buzzer with light indicator in driver cabin, which will augment safety measures.
