FELICITATION CEREMONY FOR OUTSTANDING SPORTSPERSONS AT HQ EAC

Air Marshal Surat Singh, Air Officer Commanding in Chief (AOC-in-C), Eastern Air Command (EAC) felicitated outstanding sportspersons for their accomplishments, in various Air Force Championships, at Shillong, on 24 March 2025.

Air Force level Championships are organized every year in various sports, under the aegis of Air Force Sports Control Board for the award of “Sardar Baldev Singh Challenge Cup”. The felicitation ceremony is conducted accordingly.

This Felicitation Ceremony at Headquarters Eastern Air Command is aimed to recognise outstanding performances and boost the morale of Sportsmen who have performed well in these Air Force Championships. Eastern Air Command secured the first position in Basketball, Hockey, Cross Country, Handball and MTB cycling events and emerged as the overall runners-up for the Sardar Baldev Singh Challenge Cup.
