‘The Trousseau Closet 2018- 3rd Edition’~A fashion edit on Apparel, Jewellery and Accessories~
Kolkata, July 13, 2018: In what was a stimulating gathering of the city’s fashion enthusiasts and style hunters, Shaadilogy.com presented ‘The Trousseau Closet 2018–3rd Edition’, a fashion pop up of designer prêt apparel, jewellery, and accessories from across the country. This spectacle was held at The Oberoi Grand- Burdawan & Coochbehar, from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm. It was a unique single day exhibit by top- notch designers, mostly based out of Kolkata who showcased their collection across all categories. It was the perfect place to get the best options and suggestions for the dapper look this season!
From collections dedicated to specific fashion designers (Anju Modi, Ridhi Mehra, Rimzim Dadu, Shruti Sancheti, Amrita Thakur, Aditi Somani, Maulshree Ruia, Vidhi Wadhwani, Sonali Gupta, Varuna Gupta and others) to ones examining a particular item (Jewellery designers like Vasundhara Mantri, Shefali Rawat Agarwal, Gracee & Splendeur, Dyamore and Little Carats, Paper Love by Anuradha, TINT Shoes, Suede by DevinaJuneja and The Artemist by Aradhana Dalmia ), these style-centric spot made our ‘must’ list.
Along with the designers, ace models Saachi bhasin & Samira Grewal were also available for photo opportunities and interaction.
The curators of this spectacular exhibition, Aayshya Jhunjhunwala and Vasundhara Mantri, co-founders of Shaadilogy, have offered Kolkatans, the unique opportunity to delve into some of the most established fashion houses in India, yet again! Speaking at the occasion, Aayshya Jhunjhunwala said, “This exhibit is about truly celebrating what Indians can bring to the world of fashion”. According to Vasundhara Mantri, “I try to curate shows that have a relevance to what’s happening in contemporary culture. The Trousseau Closet 2018- 3rd Edition is the finest example of the same”.
