CALI, COLOMBIA (November 5, 2021) — Tickets to the ceremonies and sporting events during the I Junior Pan American Games of Cali-Valle 2021 can now be purchased starting today. The expectations of sports fans in Colombia continues to grow as the Games draw nearer every day and will only increase as they make plans to attend the different events and competitions. To determine the cost of the tickets, organizers wanted to ensure that people and families in the state of Valle del Cauca will be able to attend the competitions together with affordable pricing. “They are prices that range between 12,500 and 25,000 pesos (Colombian) maximum, except for the Opening Ceremony that has higher values in some stands, which were determined in conjunction with Panam Sports in order to offer fans the best option to enjoy this great sports festival,” said Cali 2021 Director, Jose Luis Echeverry. Another benefit is the added availability of tickets for each sport which has increased to 75-percent of each venue’s capacity. “In this sense, we are governed by the provisions of the National Government to be able to offer athletes, delegations and, of course, the public, all the security conditions that allow the proper development of the Games in terms of health and safety protocols,” added Echeverry. In order to access the venues, each person will be required to show their vaccination card which must demonstrate that they have received at least the first dose of any of the Covid-19 vaccines. Each ticket will be made of 200-gram security thermal cardboard with 4×2 prints, in addition to having four color changes and visible and invisible UV reaction and metal reaction. The anti-counterfeiting design has security commands and fluorescent reaction withdrawal with a 5D hologram. In terms of tickets purchased online, a special barcode is added which allows for a single reading at the entrances of the various venues.
