Independence Day was celebrated with true fervour at Prestige Misty Waters, Hebbal

Bangalore, August 15, 2022 : The 75th Independence Day was celebrated at Prestige Misty Waters, Hebbal with much enthusiasm today with participation from around 300 residents. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was truly embraced by many residents putting up flags at their houses. The Flag hoisting was done by Doctor Group Capt. Bhaveja who is still serving the society with his medical practice for the poor and needy.
All residents actively participated in organizing the event where there were several cultural dances, quiz and the standout event was the Kids Cycle Rally where all kids took round of the neighborhood. To mark I – Day in a meaningful way, the residents & kids also took a pledge to “Plant a tree, save water and not to use Plastic”.
An 8-year-old child proudly holding an Indian flag went on to say “We felt so proud to be holding the national flag and dancing”. The enthusiasm in kids was unmatched who went on with “Bharat Mata ki jai” and “Vande Mataram” slogans. The programme was aimed at increasing the spirit of patriotism.
On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, crores of households will hoist the tricolour and salute the nation for the martyrs, who made our freedom possible. Har Ghar Tiranga is an important reminder of our history and the great freedom struggle. It was indeed a proud feeling to see the unity among all residents. All these activities helped celebrate the true spirit of freedom said Altia Dsouza, a resident of Prestige Misty Waters who was actively involved in organizing the event.
