JIS College of Engineering organises the 8th Edition of its signature tech fest – ‘JIS Tech 2k22’
The 8th International Technical Symposium intends to solve live societal and industrial problems
Kalyani, 15th September 2022: Kalyani’s JIS College of Engineering has inaugurated the much-awaited two days long 8th edition of its signature tech fest – ‘JIS Tech 2k22’ at its college campus on Thursday. A major objective of this symposium is to inspire students to convert their ideas into design and at the same time provide a global platform for the young innovators to showcase their projects to larger peer groups. The inauguration was done in the presence of the VC of Kalyani University – Prof. Manas Kumar Sanyal ; Dr. Nilimesh Roy Chowdhury, Chairman – Kalyani Municipality; Prof. Khalid Saeed Bialystok University of Technology – Poland; Dr. Subikash Biswas, Principal JNM Medical College & Hospital; Mr. Anirban Basu, IC – Kalyani Police Station and principals of nearby schools & colleges of Kalyani as well.
JIS Tech 2k22 is the annual Technical Symposium of JIS College of Engineering for nurturing little innovations evolving within budding engineers. The tech fest saw the participation of institutional projects, and innovative models etc. Winners students or groups were felicitated with a participation certificate, Overall First, Second and Third prize, Category-wise awards, Best Innovative Project, Best cost-effective project, Best ready-to-implement project, Best prototype Project, Best environment-friendly project, Best commercialize-ready project, Best project with social contribution etc. Junior Innovator School Students, Rising Innovator College Students, Innovative Mind Teacher from Schools & Colleges, Industrial Innovators, Professors, Scientists & Researchers and any innovation-loving person were welcomed by the organisers to participate in the tech extravaganza.
