LOST WALLET RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO COMMUTER

On 12.07.2023 at about 19:20 hrs at Salt Lake Stadium station, an on-duty RPF staff during a routine check found a wallet near the booking counter. Finding no claimant of this wallet, he deposited it to the Station Master’s Office after careful checking.
Thereafter, the Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the wallet to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations. After opening the wallet, some valuable items were found therein.
After some time i.e. at 19:39 hrs, a commuter came to the Station Master’s office and claimed ownership of the wallet. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the recovered wallet was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover the lost wallet.
It is to be noted that Metro authorities always stay alert to help commuters facing any difficulty in the Metro premises. Metro staff also help commuters to get back their lost items or unite separated members with his/her family in an emergency.
