Bengal Youth Hostels start online booking
The Department of Youth Services, Government of West Bengal has decided to go online for the booking of accommodation facilities at Youth Hostels across the State. This step will attract more tourists, especially students from other States who often prefer cheaper accommodations. Thus, now, accommodations can be applied for from the comfort of one’s home. Payments can also be made online using debit card, credit card, or NEFT/internet banking payment facilities.
The existing spot-booking system has also been improved by introducing the acceptance of debit cards, credit cards and EDC facility. Spot bookings for the youth hostels can also be made at the State Youth Centre in Moulally, Kolkata. All the rules and guidelines for the booking facility have also been provided on the relevant website.
This online booking system will also enable online cancellation, with the refund going back to the bank account automatically. This hassle-free system will immensely help people.

সমগ্র রাজ্য জুড়ে যুব ছাত্রাবাসগুলিতে অনলাইন বুকিং পরিষেবা চালু করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ যুব কল্যাণ বিভাগ। এই পদক্ষেপের মাধ্যমে পর্যটকরা আরও আকৃষ্ট হবেন এবং তারা অনেক সস্তায় আবাসন পাবেন।
সকলে তাদের নিজ নিজ জায়গা থেকে বাড়িতে বসেই পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিভিন্ন যুব হোস্টেল বুকিং-এর জন্য আবেদন করতে পারেন। এমনকি ডেবিট কার্ড / ক্রেডিট কার্ড / এনইএফটি / ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিংএর মাধ্যমেও তারা পেমেন্ট করতে পারবেন।
অনলাইন বুকিংএর সুবিধা ছাড়াও রয়েছে ডেবিট / ক্রেডিট কার্ড এবং EDC সুবিধা এবং কলকাতার মৌলালি যুব সেন্টার থেকেও এই বুকিং করা যাবে। বুকিংএর জন্য সব রকম বিধি এবং নির্দেশাবলী দিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে।
বুকিং করার সুবিধা ছাড়াও, সাধারণ মানুষ অনলাইনে এই বুকিং বাতিল করতে পারবেন ও নিজেদের ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউণ্টে সময়মতো টাকা ফেরত পেয়ে যাবেন। এই একটি ঝামেলাহীন প্রক্রিয়া এবং এর মাধ্যমে সাধারণ মানুষের অনেক উপকার হবে।
