Opposition are Jubilant at West Bengal as the Key Poll manager of TMC has been caged by the EC with no access to Mobile, Landline or internet. Only family members are allowed to visit him in SSKM Hospital.
Followed by the complaints from Opposition parties, the Election Commission today ordered police to keep a close eye on TMC leader Master Poll manager Madan Mitra, who is a local to Mamata Banerjee’s constituency Bhawanipore.
Followed by EC’s order, the West Bengal state Home department issued an order to jail authorities and Kolkata Police Commissioner saying that no person other than Mitra’s family members should get access to him.
The order also said that Mitra should in no way be able to use mobile.
The Congress and CPI-M had yesterday jointly urged the Election Commission that the activities of the TMC leader should be monitored inside the state-run SSKM hospital to ensure no Poll manipulation is on the way from his side.
This is a clear sign that like football man to man marking, in this election EC has to take same step for Madan and Anubrata another able Poll manipulator for TMC. But still all side is sceptical how far this will be followed in actual from West Bengal Police or Hospital Side.
