Poes Garden residence of AMMA Jaya was full of supporters and media, she thanked all the voters for choosing her party and vowed to work for the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu for the second time.
“I am overwhelmed by the resounding victory the people of Tamil Nadu have given us. My party and I are indebted to the people of Tamil Nadu for giving this historic victory,” she said.
In Chennai, though, the DMK has bucked the trend to gain back its stronghold from the ruling party which is a consolation prize for DMK at this moment.
