In a real sad and barbaric terror attack India lost her Six brave son from Assam Rifles in Manipur.
Six armed force person among which a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and five jawans of Assam Rifles were killed in a sudden attack by militants in Chandel district of Manipur near the Indo-Myanmar border on Sunday.
Heavily-armed militants attack the convoy around 1 p.m. An Assam Rifles convoy was in Joupi Hengshi area of Chandel when security personnel were returning after inspecting a landslide site in the interior tribal district, defense and police sources said.
All members were belonged to 29 Assam Rifles. Two or more militant groups jointly carried out the operation as suspected by authorities.
Immediately more troops were rushed to the area for a massive combing search operation is underway, they said.
