Nirbhaya Fund – 500 Crore Released for Railway Ministry for Video Surveillance Systems

Indian Railways will get 500 Cr as Nirbhaya Fund part payment.

This will be a fund for enhancing the Railway safety and security for the passengers.

Nirbhaya Fund was created in the name of the unfortunate young lady who died after physical assault in Delhi Bus.

This 500Cr will be used for “Integrated Emergency Response System” Development. Surveillance through Video enabled security for the passenger will be implemented.
