On Wednesday, Human Rights Awareness Association, a Punjab-based NGO moved to the supreme court, asking for a stay on the release of the film.
Contesting and appeal against the order of the Bombay high court, which allowed the release of the movie with one cut, the NGO submitted that the film shows Punjab in bad light, supporting Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Our request to all readers and viewers not to see the film online on leaked version and make it a “Zero Viewed Link” as a mark of protest for leak.
