Crafted by traditional Rajasthani artisans, Kalyan Jewellers’ new strand –‘Tejasvi’ which means stunning in English befits nomenclature as the brilliance of uncut diamonds at that the heart of each traditional polki creations made in 18 as well as 22 karat gold shine like a summer of tigers.
Each taking two weeks to hone, artisanal exclusivity drips from uncut polki diamonds contrasted through coloured stones like emeralds, rubies and pearls integrated into these unique designs. These pieces come in a closed setting style, with intricate Meenakari work done on the reverse – the refined the embellished Meenakari, the higher the value. Ramesh Kalyanraman, Executive Director, Kalyan Jewellers emphasized, “Close attention to the finest detail is what makes ‘Tejasvi’ unique. Each piece is handmade from start to finish by a single master craftsman. It takes weeks, sometimes even months to make a single piece of jewellery.”
Bracelets and neck pieces in the collection can go well with western outfits, and it also includes ranihaars, maang tikkas and chokers that will offset a traditional bridal look.
The range commences from stand-alone earrings beginning from Rs.30,000/- and goes on to include complete sets of necklace, bangles, earrings and tikka while at the centrepiece of this collection lies a single piece bridal necklace in a range of Rs.30-40 lakhs.
