Veteran author and Ramon Magsaysay Award winner Mahasweta Devi ‘s condition is critical,she has been transferred to ICU sources said on Thursday. Her condition is critical.

She is suffering from old age problems along with infection in urinary track. Her kidney condition is also bad hence dialysis is on.

She was admitted a few days ago in a private hospital of Kolkata.

All literary and intellectuals are worried about her health.
