Football Update Mohun Bagan AC Cheered Darryl Duffy – He has reached Kolkata to play for the mariners

Mohun Bagan earlier had confirmed the signing of Darryl Duffy from Salgaocar FC for the 2016-17 season of the I-League.

Duffy, who had racked up 31 goals in just 49 appearances over three seasons joins the famous Mariners among controversy surrounding Salgaocar that has seen the Goans withdraw from the I-League for the coming season.

The former Scotland U-21 international had gained invaluable experience in his time in the English Championship and the Scottish Leagues playing for clubs such as Swansea City, Hull City, Hartlepool United, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham town etc.

He joined Salgaocar in 2013 and took the I-League by storm. In his time at the Greens, he managed to attain the club’s top scorer status in every season. The ambitious Duffy now looks forward to achieve title-winning success with Mohun Bagan.
