Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel offered to step down as CM of Gujarat as she turning 75 in November 2016 and BJP as party has accepted her decisions as a whole and new CM name will made public soon by the party.
But inside story is some what different as per media report and sources close to BJP,after being accused of mismanaging two major public uprisings in Gujarat, Anandiben Patel has on Facebook said she would like to quit. The BJP has made mind to most likely select Nitinbhai Patel, currently the state’s Health Minister as next CM.
After long Modi Raj in Gujarat after that Modi selected CM Anandiben’s rule for two more years has some impact on public mind and with state votes soon for its next government , most of the local BJP leaders have been complaining, that Anandiben has steered the party’s ebbing popularity in a state the party has governed for over a decade.
Picked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his replacement in Gujarat in 2014, Anandiben posted that she turns 75 in two months and respects the BJP’s principle of retiring older leaders to promote younger ones. BJP sources say that for obliging the party with her resignation, she could be appointed Governor soon.
