Run 033 event is an iconic initiative by K-krew (the city’s pioneering rap group) which started journey in 2011. RAP culture popularization is the ultimate goal of the group.

Who we are: 
Run 033 event is an initiative by K-krew (the city’s pioneering rap group) started in 2011. We organize pro community youth centric performing arts events.  DJ Vita has been playing for Run 033 events since 2013 and has been a part of our team since March 2016.

About the event:

Boom Bloc 2nd edition is a sequel to Boom Bloc  , which we organized in March 2016. The last edition saw
1- Breakdancing
2- Graffiti art
3- Turntablism
4- Rap battles
5- Beat boxing
6- Bmx stunt riding
This year our goal is same. To promote hip hop culture by giving the city kids a chance to showcase their passion in the above mentioned 6 elements.

Last times highlights-

1- Guest rapper Unknown Mizery from Toronto, Canada.
2- Guest dj Lish from Zimbabwe
3- Guest MC Thierry from Ivory Coast.
4- Art supplies (spray cans and sketch books) from Germany’s OTR label.

This year’s target-

To keep it strictly confined within the city hip hop fraternity, we have not invited any foreign artists this time around. We have:

1- K-krew as emcees.
2- Breakguruz to perform a dance showcase.
3- Crafts of Kammotionn to perform a dance showcase.
4- DJ Vita (dance battle deejay)
5- Selekta D$C (after party deejay)
6- Graff-Kol members for graffiti art.
7- BeatKillSession for rap cyphers.

All artists are local to the city and that’s the beauty of City of Joy as Cultural Capital of India.
