At North Kolkata Suburbs Dum Dum IT Minister Bartya Basu started the journey of Kali Puja opening ceremony from the Fari area near Dum Dum station along with TMC MP Professor Saugata Roy.
Minister Bartya Basu who himself is an eminent theater and film personality told the people to celebrate the puja with full festive mood yet keep respect for every once comfort and requested all to refrain from using sound crackers.
While Saugata Roy appriciated the pandal of “Amra Milechi” as if a real temple with Kalika puran has landed here at Dum Dum.
