Bengal’s Animal Resource Dept comes up with a new gift for food lovers
There is good news for all the foodies who savour meat like nothing else in the world. Now, in Kolkata, you can get six chicken cutlets for just Rs 120.
The West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation Limited, a Bengal government undertaking, has recently started selling chicken cutlets that come six in number, in a 300 gram packet.
People have already loved this product, after Minister of State, Animal Resource Development (ARD) flagged off the sale at recently concluded Poultry Fair in Kolkata.
The Livestock Development Corporation is mulling to launch the second variety – a 500 gram packet which would contain 10 such pieces of cutlet costing Rs 210.

রাজ্য সরকারের অধীনে থাকা West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation Limited এবার থেকে বিক্রি করবে চিকেন কাটলেট। ৩০০ গ্রামের প্যাকেটে ৬টি করে চিকেন কাটলেট থাকবে। কলকাতায় পোলট্রি মেলায় এর বিক্রয় শুরু হয়।
ভবিষ্যতে ৫০০ গ্রামের প্যাকেটে ১০ টি কাটলেট বিক্রি করার পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে রাজ্য প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তরের। এই প্যাকেট গুলির দাম হবে ২১০ টাকা।
