Late Dhirubhai Ambani founder of Reliance conglomerate, deserved the Padma Vibhushan as Apex Court said in his verdict today.

India’s second-highest civilian honour -was confered to late Dhirubahi Ambai which has been received last year by Kokilaben, wife of late Dhirubahi Ambani, at a ceremony in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Her illustrated billionaire sons Anil and Mukesh Ambani was also present there.

“In his time, he was known as the biggest industrialist of the country. You are not to decide on who should get the Padma Vibhushan. If they give it to you, we can’t question (it),” the judges said to the lawyer who asked for the award to be withdrawn.

PC Srivastava raised a question and petition to withdraw the award as according to him Dhirubahi had done nothing exceptional for the country.

Supreme Court verdict was a real peace for many of Ambani fans and industry leaders.
