Coochbehar is known for many historic places like the Raj Bari (King’s Palace) , Madan Mohan Temple , Rashikbill and many more but if some one wants to know about the healthcare and humanity many people are there among them one prominent personality is Doctor Raghupati Sharengi a Homeopath by education and profession.
He is better known as people’s doctor in an around Coochbehar. His followers believe him like doctors with Midas Touch.
He is originally from a remote village in erstwhile Midnapore district. He loved homeopathy from his childhood and took his passion in to profession. He got the degree in Homeopathic Medicine from University of Calcutta with highest marks in the exam. After a service with homeopathy college in Kolkata he took the government service in north Bengal and started his crusade with the pain and agony of disease through Homeopathy.
At present he is associated with a Health center under Coochbehar District with West Bengal Government Health Unit.
