KARUNA DHARAY ESO, a dance theatre conceptualized and presented by Arnab Bandyopadhyay opened to a full house at a city auditorium. Interweaving the poetry of GEETANJALI by the nobel laureate Tagore, the presentation encompassed the journey of a poet through a spiritual quest of a divine romance.
Priyam Mukhopadhyay from Shantiniketan enthralled the audience like an opera singer who moved with poise. Soumili Ghosh Biswas and Debolina Kumar were both perfect companions of Arnab in this stellar choreographic ensemble.
Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee was quite a surprise in the cast, having not trained in dance, mesmerized the audience with his elegance and finesse of theatre. His voice over was particularly appreciated, not to forget his immaculate diction.
Arnab’s performance was excellent, not to forget the group dancers who were hugely appreciated after the show.
