Fifty second annual conference of Technical Supervising Staff Association ( Regd no 28249) affiliated by All India Federation of Power Diploma Engineers commenced on 29th April 2017 at Saltlake, Vidyut Bhavan auditorium,Kolkata.
The conference inaugurated by Sri Shovondeb Chattopadhyay by litting the lamp minister in charge Dept. of Power & NES Govt. Of West Bengal . Sri Chattapadhhayay in his inaugural speech told the conference that with the active role of diploma Engineers the power position in his state has improved remarkably and requested the attending Diploma Engineers of the association to come forwarded for improvement of the electricity Industry as a whole since electricity in the back bone of the development and urged to take the lead roll considering the socio economic condition of the state and the country.
Minister not only congratulated the team but also guided for the required improvement in the service line and documentation of the facts in the books of the conference.
Among other Sri Rajesh Pandey IAS , chairman cum managing Director WBSEDCL & WBSETCL, Sri Sujoy Sarkar Director ( HR&A), WBSEDCL were present in the conference. Sri Pandey CMD in his deliberation mentioned very carefully that the Diploma Engineers of the company playing the very important & pivotal role for this rapid growth of the consumers and the revenue of the company and for this achievement he congratulate the attending members and wish success of the conference.
More than six hundred Diploma Engineers from different district took part in this conference.
On the eve of the conference a souvenir was published by the Minister along with all other dignitaries on the stage.
General Secretary of the association Sri Satya Ranjan Sarkar delivered the well come address. Inaugural program of the conference was presided over by Sri Sanjoy Chakraborty President of the association and conduct the entire program.
The conference will continue up to 30th April , and it is told by the association representative that on the next day of the secession discussion of General Secretary report and new executive committee will be formed.
