Actor Irrfan Khan visited Kolkata for the promotion of his upcoming film called “Hindi Mediaum”.
During the press meet Irrfan said that “Education is more important than Institutions.Even if you are in best possible institute it will not assure you will have the required education. On the other hand a proper educated person does not need any brand behind him.”
The story of Hindi Medium shows the classic feudal mentality of so called educated society and the common people who tries to get along with the white collar section of the society.A comic approach to this fundamental class fight may through some hard light on the issue.
Hindi Medium, directed by Saket Chaudhary will show Irrfan Khan in an unusual avatar. The actor will be seen playing a rich Punjabi businessman & a cloth store owner from Chandni Chowk who is married to Saba Qamar.
A couple from Chandni Chowk aspire to be a part of and accepted by the elite of Delhi. Hindi Medium is a slice of life comedy based in the heartland of our country. The film is all set to hit the silver screens on 19th May, 2017.
