Max Fashion celebrates World Environment day with a week long initiative
Kolkata, June 5th, 2017: Max Fashion initiated “Share Fashion Share Smiles” week starting from 27th May to 4th June to commemorate World Environment Day. The Environment week concluded with the presence of cast and crew of movie ‘Aroni Tokhon’ at Max Store, Lake Mall. The initiative encouraged customers and employees to donate clothes to the NGO-Women’s Interlink Foundation. Drop boxes were installed outside all Max stores for the drive.
Actor Indroneel Sengupta and Director Saurav Chakraborty unveiled the trailer of the movie, followed by an inspiring discussion on world environment day. They also handed over the clothes collected through the ‘Share Fashion Share Smiles’ drive to the NGO – Women’s Interlink Foundation and planted saplings around the mall area.
Speaking on the occasion Rajib Mukherjee, Regional Manager, Max Fashion said, “As a responsible corporate, we at Max believe in sharing smiles. We hope we were able to inspire people to donate their clothes for a cause. The city of joy stayed true to its name by spreading joy and contributing in large numbers.”
