His Excellency Ma Zhanwu the Consul General of People’s Republic of China is one of the most active diplomat in cultural front to represent the best of his country and her culture at Kolkata,India.
Dragon Boat Race is one such initiative taken by Chinese community of Kolkata with the active support of His Excellency Ma Zhanwu this year. Six Dragon boat was imported all the way from China and gifted by the Consul General of People’s Republic of China for the event.
Apart from the race the evening was a gift of performance by Chinese people with their cultural art activity.
Mr. Javed Khan minister of West Bengal Government explained in details where both the culture is unique but also so close to live together.
