AMIT KUMAR FAN CLUB organized the first ever film festival dedicated to the legendary music composer, R.D.BURMAN FILM FESTIVAL 2017 on 79th birthday of the legend.
INAUGURAL CEREMONY & MY STAMP RELEASE happend in presence of Pt. Debasish Bhattacharya, Devajit Bandyopadhyay, Singer Saikat Mitra,Ratul Shankar, Tabalia Mallar Ghosh, Riddhi Bandyopadhyay,Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee, Devjit Roy and others.
This event is unique one as this perhaps the only Film Festival dedicated to any music composer. Thanks to Amit Kumar Fans Club of Kolkata.
Every one was remembering the legend with their personal feelings from core of their heart.
Saikat Mitra explained how he grownup with R.D. Burman and his music while Mallar Ghosh remembered his experience of RD and his father another legend Jnanprakash Ghosh.
Festival will show case some of the classic movies from RD signature compositions through 26-28 Jun 2017 at Nandan III from 3-9pm with two show each day.
