She is sweet like rasgulla and she loves rasgulla too, she is none other than Sangita Ghosh the popular face of Star Parivar for daily drama serials. She will be rebooting her career with Star family with new mega serial Rishton Ka Chakravyuh where she has been offered a negative role and she accepted the challenge. Niraj Sukla scripted this one year long serial (as of now planned). Mother and Daughter fight and twist in the relation will be explored.

Sanguta was very excited  about the role and peoples support she seek from every corner to make it a success for Star Network.

Story-line:

“Of all the gifts that life has to offer, a mother is greatest of them all,” – goes the powerful saying. That’s the importance of ‘mothers’, universally, no? While they say that ‘love’ begins and ends with motherhood, would you ever imagine a mother-daughter duo who never shares an emotion of ‘love’ between them?

Transpiring on STAR Plus, Rishton Ka Chakravyuh depicts the collision between the mother Satrupa and her daughter Anami. Set amidst the royal backdrop, the show focuses on a rich industrial family residing at the majestic Lal Mahal, which is home to many conspiracies. It depicts the story of Satrupa, an authoritative woman and her daughter Anami.

This interesting duet is always at a conflict. What has driven them apart? Is it a regular family feud that would heal within a short span of time? Or is it a permanent crack that has resulted due to a spiteful history? A mother-daughter bond which is considered godly how can it ever turn so grudging?

Essayed by the multi-faceted Narayani Shastri, Satrupa is a strong willed, successful business woman. The only child of her parents, she took responsibility of her business on her shoulders at a very young age. She has sacrificed a lot in her life to reach the status she is at today, where the strings of Lal Mahal completely lay in the hands of Satrupa.

On the other side of the acrimonious relationship is a confident, defiant and free spirited Anami, played by the multi-talented Mahima Makwana. The 17 year old hailing from Benaras is quite a rebel with a Dabangg attitude! She is her own boss and makes her own decisions. A storm of the house, she always speaks up for what is right and believes in writing her own destiny. Her unusual look is what makes her stand out in the entire Lal Mahal. The fearless Anami is known for her fierce one-liners that goes like – “Hamare baare mein jyada mat sochiye dimaag blast maar dega”, and something like – “Dil ganga aur dimaag mein panga”! Despite her unconventional nature, she is a well-mannered girl who believes in her principles and is a determined soul.

Adding a twist to the already crooked equation of Satrupa and Anami is Sudha, essayed by Sangita Ghosh. Her deviant attitude led by her constant plotting and flaky mind games will have the tables turned in the show. Coupled with her equally aberrant son Narottam played by Akash Gill, the duo sets the ball rolling as antagonists in Rishton Ka Chakravyuh. Sudha will be seen in a unique Bengali avatar on the show.

Talking about her part on the show, Sangita Ghosh says, “There are vamps on TV shows, but Sudha is something else. Her style of silently changing the game with her profoundly wicked ways is ten folds ahead of what you would have seen an antagonist doing on any shows. I found that to be very unique and it was a little challenging but interesting to step in Sudha’s character. Also, I am a Bengali and portraying a character who has a rich Bengali avatar on screen gave me another high.”

Apart from the unconventionally electrifying duo, the show boasts of a power-packed bunch of actors including Praneet Bhatt as antagonist. The show also features Anju Mahendru and Tom Alter in pivotal roles.

What gets Satrupa and Anami to be poles apart? Will they ever make peace? Explore this only on Rishton Ka Chakravyuh starting from 7th August 6 pm on Star Plus.
