Distinguished Scientific Lecture Organized at Kalyani University
Department of Physiology of Kalynai University today (11/08/2017) organized a distinguished Lecture programme at 11.30 am at the Vidyasagar Auditorium of Kalyani University. Vice- Chancellor Professor Sankar Kr Ghosh inaugurated the programme.
The distinguished lecture was delivered by Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Bala Singh, Director General (Life Sciences) of Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, New Delhi on “Research Innovations of DRDO for improving the quality of life of soldiers deployed at high altitude environment”.
Other dignitaries present in the programme were Science Dean Dr. Rita Ghosh, Research coordinator Dr. Shital Chattopadhyay, Senior Scientist of DIPAS Dr. M. S. Pal, Head of the Department Dr. S. Sahu, former Dean of Science Goutam Paul, and Assistant Director of DODL Faruque Ahamed. The programme was ended with great success after interaction of the speaker with students.
কল্যাণী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ডিআরডিও এর ডিরেক্টর জেনারেলকে সংবর্ধনা দিল
সংবাদদাতা, কল্যাণী, নদীয়া: আজ কল্যাণী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ‘ফিজওলজি ডিপার্টমেন্ট’ ডিশটিংগুইশট বক্তৃতার আয়োজন করেছিল। এই সন্মানীয় বক্তৃতার মুখ্য বক্তা ছিলেন ড. শ্রীমতী শশীবালা সিং। তিনি হলেন ভারত সরকারের প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রনালয়ের DRDO (Defence Research Development Organization) নতুন দিল্লী-এর ডিরেক্টর জেনারেল (লাইফ সায়েন্স)। তাঁর সাতে ছিলেন DRDO অধীনস্ত DIPAS পরীক্ষা সংস্থানের সিনিয়ার বিজ্ঞানী ড. মধুসূদন পাল। অনুষঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মাননীয় উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক শঙখর কুমার ঘোষ, বিজ্ঞানের ডিন অধ্যাপিকা রীতা ঘোষ, রিসার্চ শাখার নির্দেশক অধ্যাপক শীতল চট্টোপাধ্যায়, ফিজিওলজি বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ড. গৌতম পাল এবং বিভাগীয় প্রধান ড. এস সাহু, অধ্যাপিকা এল লাহিড়ী এবং দূর শিক্ষা বিভাগের সহ অধিকর্তা ফারুক আহমেদ এছাড়াও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গবেষক, অধ্যাপক সহ আধিকারিকবৃন্দ।
ড. সিং এর ববক্তব্যের মূল ভাবনা ছিল প্রতিকূল পরিবেশে সেনাদের সুরক্ষা খাদ্য, বাসস্থান এবং রোগনিরাময়ে ডিআরডিও এর উদ্ভাবনী অবদান।
কল্যাণী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এর পক্ষ থেকে ডিআরডিও এর ডিরেক্টর জেনারেলকে বিশেষ সংবর্ধনা দেওয়া হয়।
