PM constantly monitoring the situation in Gorakhpur
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is constantly monitoring the situation in Gorakhpur.
“PM is constantly monitoring the situation in Gorakhpur. He is in constant touch with authorities from the Central and UP Governments.
MoS Health Anupriya Patel and the Union Health Secretary will take stock of the situation from Gorakhpur”, the Prime Minister said.
Earlier in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur hospital chief has been suspended after 60 children, with many neonatal babies, all died in the last five days at the medical college of Gorakhpur which happens to be under the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s parliamentary constituency.
When the hospital reported a disruption in oxygen supply after 23 Children died, but the state government denied the cause is lack of oxygen.
The Chief Minister had paid a visit to the state-run Baba Raghav Das Medical College, Gorakhpur’s which the biggest hospital in the area.
