Shri Chandra Bose one of the prominent member of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose family and nephew of Netaji along with the other family members expressed their disappointment and dejection with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee during the press meet at Kolkata Press Club.
THE OPEN PLATFORM FOR NETAJI a non political platform for Netaji organised a press meet to discuss measures which now need to be taken by the Government of India, more than 18 months after the historic decision it had taken on January 23, 2016 to declassify all files held by it with a view to unravel the mystery of his disappearance.
On 18th Aug 2017 a walk for the cause has been organised by the forum from esplanade Netaji Statue to Netaji Bhabwan but administration did not gave a permission for the same. Which made Chandra Bose and family furious.
Even they complained Police commissioner kept them waiting for 8 hours at Lalbazar to reject the permission.
Despite of that family is firm on the decision to hold the walk.
CM statement was not available on this. But historically Mamata Banerjee is a die hard Netaji Fan, So why her administration did not gave a permission that is also a big mystry as of now.
