Parash Foundation announced the Music Concert Agomoni – To build a school for street children and slum children in future

Kolkata: 25th August 2017: Today at a press conference organised by Parash Foundation the Music Concert Agomoni was announced. It will take place on 3rd of September at Dumdum Rabindra Bhawan. The concert will be performed by Surojit O Bondhura, Rupankar Bagchi, Half Major Band and Folk Tantra Band. The concert will be hosted by popular actor Biswanath Basu.

The sole purpose to organise this Music Concert is to raise fund the fund for to build a school for street children and slum children in future. We have also arranged to give new dresses to 50 and above for the Durga Puja.

Shri.Suman Choudhury, President; Shri.Sayan Mukherjee, General Secretary; Sri.Mithun Mitra, Treasurer; Srimati. Joyeeta Mondal, Convenor, few street children who they have rescued  and few other members of Parash Foundation were present at the press conference.

Parash Foundation started their journey on 15th April 2017 .It was a small  initiative taken through the Facebook platform with a mission to  stop child labour , child beggar and send them to school to give them the proper education for their future..Later, they arranged a program in Chetla Boys School to give the new dress and some study material to near about 50 children and gave them food as well. After the success of the mission Parash Foundation took its shape.

Parash Foundation started their next campaign after getting registered to involve the street children and slum children by admitting them into various school in Dompara, Sreemani Market Area , Habra Janaphul area and in Dumdum Area.

The main motto of the Foundation has always been the welfare of the street children, educating them, providing them with a better living, and to STOP CHILD LABOUR.

Parash Foundation has also helped the flood victims recently.  The provided them with medicines.  In near future they are willing to work for old age people  and other physically challenged people also .
