Oxford University Press Organizes Mathematics Workshop in Kolkata
The math’s workshop will empower teachers and help them make mathematics class more interactive and interesting
Kolkata 19th Sep, 2017: Oxford University Press recently organized a first of its kind information technology Maths workshop titled “Effective Mathematics Workshop and Interacting way of Teaching Mathematics” in Kolkata. Approximately 200 teachers from various ICSE and state board schools attended this workshop.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Shekhar Hardikar, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Science in S N Kansagra School Rajkot. Mr. Hardikar has developed various fun techniques to teach Science and Mathematicseffectivelyin a classroom. He has been working with teachers for teachers’ training and resources and has been conducting workshops on Mathematics and Science for teachers on a regular basis. He is an esteemed member of the National Science Teachers Association, USA; National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, USA; and many other recognized organizations in India.
