KMC receives national recognition of Best Performing Urban Project funded by ADB
The Kolkata Environmental Improvement Investment Program of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has got the national recognition of Best Performing Urban Project funded by ADB for the year 2016 out of 84 ongoing Urban Projects in India, for outstanding project implementation in water supply, sewerage, drainage services sectors.
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took to social media to inform everyone about this great achievement.

The KMC has gone through a tremendous developmental change under the Trinamool Congress. Besides keeping the city clean and being beautified, the citizens now receive basic amenities like healthcare, water supply and other facilities free of cost. Also, e-governance received impetus and a number of facilities can be available with the click of a mouse.
