Kolkata 27′ October 2017,  Green Mall at Bakhrahat Road. South 24 Paraganas. organized stn environmental event to save thousands of trees which are helplessly cut down daily for our developmental activities.

Sri Dinesh Rawat, the founder father of Green Mall, has introduced for the first time in India totally a new concept with the technical know-how of transplanting the old tall big trees. He has organized a live demonstration on excavating a big tree. Also, planting the same along with an already excavated 30 feet high Mahogany tree in the august presence of all dignitaries and invited celebrities. The press was highly amazed as well as excited to witness such a live demonstration made in less than an hour.

The event was attended by Nature lovers, eminent film personalities and star artists of Bengal. They are all highly impressed to observe the beautiful activities organized at Green mall campus.

Leading actress Smt Supriya Devi said, “Efforts of Sri Dinesh Rawat in the field of environment & greening are all beyond appreciation. The concept of Moving Trees should get widespread publicity so that thousands of trees could be saved and at the same time new areas would be equally developed and enriched with such transplantation of all grown up trees”.

Another leading film personality, Smt. Madhabi Mukherjee was highly delighted to know that Sri Dinesh Rawat is a follower of the Bramha Kumaris’ and a regular practitioner of Meditation and Rajayoga arranged and organized regularly at their retreat center in Green Mall campus. She also said that only a true follower of Bramha Kumari can dedicate his life to such a phenomenal environmental work. She also desired that every Kolkatan must visit Green Mall only to experience such beautiliil and serene space in Bengal with creative landscaping.

The renowned celebrity, Sri Chinmay Roy said that he never knew that such a nice & meaningful place existed at all in the vicinity of Kolkata where one could get everything for a garden and gardening. It’s a wonderful place for those who want to make their surroundings green.

The noted celebrity, Sri Biplab Chatterjee found the concept was unique and said that the nation must make the best use of this technology of moving trees without cutting them. Green Mall is undoubtedly a virtual Green Paradise where one can learn a lot about greening and our responsibility towards Nature and Environment.

The event concluded with a unanimous resolution that the very concept of “Transplanting Trees Instead of Cutting down” should get wide publicity amongst all the Public offices and establishments including Municipalities of India.
