Foreign tourists, in town for FIFA U-17 World Cup, impressed by Kolkata
The renovation work that the Salt Lake area has undergone because of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup has impressed one and all, including the foreign tourists.
Over the last few days, a lot of tourists have arrived in the city, supporting teams from their countries. In fact, not just from the World Cup-participating countries, but tourists have come from numerous other places.
The tourists have been highly impressed by the decorations put up, the brilliant landscaping and street lighting. Many tourists have said that the warmth of the people have won them over.
A few more tourists have been impressed by the street culture of Kolkata, like having roadside tea addas, something few other world-class cities can boast of.
