Chef Soumendra Nath Mondal has been appointed as the First Executive Chef (leading the Kitchen Team) for Howard Johnson, Kolkata. He is a passionate professional with 12 years of culinary experience in global cuisine in finest hotels & restaurants. His specialties include Mediterranean, European, Italian, French, Thai, oriental, Mexican, Indian Cuisines and he also holds expertise in various other cuisines as well.
He is a Hotel Management graduate (B.A. in International Hospitality Management, Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh, United Kingdom). Chef Soumendra Nath Mondal has also done a three years Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from Institute of Advanced Management, Kolkata, recognised by AICTE, INDIA. He did his professional training from THE LEELA PALACE, Bangalore, Kempenski group.
Mr. Mondal has an enriching work experience as an Executive Chef in Pipal Tree Hotel and as a SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE in Amigos and Afraa Restaurant & Lounge Bar, Afraa Deli, Afraa Creperie.
