House for all – Bengal CM to distribute ‘Banglar Bari’ to 5 lakh beneficiaries today

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is going to hand over houses constructed as part of the Banglar Bari Scheme to occupants at Netaji Indoor Stadium today. These houses are meant to house the urban poor.
Five lakh people spread over 21 districts are going to be handed over certificates of occupancy.
Mamata Banerjee wants that every citizen of Bengal should have a roof over their heads, and Banglar Bari is a continuation towards that end.
